DRAFT, pending legal review. This is a plain-language draft of how Warm Hello works today, not final legal terms. Bracketed items are still to be filled in.
Terms of Use
Version 0.1 · effective October 11, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY] ("we", "us"), [REGISTERED ADDRESS], for your use of Warm Hello. By accepting them, or by using Warm Hello, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your data.
In short
- Warm Hello is an early beta. It will change, it may break, and we may reset data as we build it.
- You bring your own mailbox connection and your own AI provider API key, and you pay that provider for what the assistant uses.
- The assistant is an AI model. It can be wrong. Check what it tells you, and read anything before it goes out under your name.
- There is no charge for Warm Hello during the beta, and no service level or guarantee.
- We may contact you to ask how Warm Hello is working for you.
An early beta
Warm Hello is an early beta. Features arrive, change and sometimes break. We may reset data while we build it: your contacts, notes, conversations, settings, even your account. We will tell you ahead of a planned reset when we can, but we cannot promise to. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Your account
You sign in with an emailed code, or with GitHub or Google. Keep access to them to yourself: whoever holds them can use your account. You must be at least 18, and you must give us an email address you control. We may decline an account, or suspend or close one that is misused, and we will tell you by email when we do.
Your connections, your key, your cost
To work, Warm Hello needs a mailbox you connect and an API key from Anthropic or OpenAI. Connect only a mailbox you are entitled to access. The assistant's use of your key is billed to you by your provider, under your agreement with them; we do not control or refund those charges. You can disconnect either at any time in Settings.
The assistant is AI
The assistant reads your workspace and your mail to suggest who to contact and to draft what to say. It is often right and sometimes wrong. It is not professional, legal or financial advice. Warm Hello saves drafts for you to review. If you ask the assistant to send an email, it sends it from your mailbox; you are responsible for what is sent from your account.
Using Warm Hello fairly
Use Warm Hello for your own professional relationships. Do not use it to send spam or unsolicited bulk email, to harass anyone, or to break the law, including privacy and anti-spam law. Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or to get into accounts or data that are not yours. Data about the people in your network belongs in your workspace only as far as the law allows you to hold it; that is your responsibility.
Your content
What you bring stays yours: your contacts, notes, mail and conversations. You let us store and process it only to run Warm Hello for you, as the Privacy Policy describes. We do not sell it and we do not use it to train AI models.
Hearing from you
By creating an account you agree that we may contact you about your account and to ask about your experience. Tell us at [CONTACT EMAIL] if you would rather we did not ask.
No warranty, and limits on liability
During the beta Warm Hello is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind and without a service level. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or charges from your AI or mail providers, and our total liability to you is limited to [LIABILITY CAP]. [LEGAL REVIEW: warranty disclaimer, liability cap and any consumer-law carve-outs.]
Changes, and leaving
Each version of these terms is dated. When we change them, we ask you to accept the new version before you carry on. You can stop using Warm Hello at any time and ask us to delete your account at [CONTACT EMAIL]. We may end the beta, or Warm Hello, and we will tell you first.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW], and disputes go to the courts of [VENUE]. [LEGAL REVIEW: governing law, venue and any arbitration clause.]
